At their June 2, 2025 concert in Istanbul, Turkey, Guns N’ Roses stunned fans by altering their setlist in ways not seen in decades. Playing at BJK Tupras Stadyumu as part of their 2025 world tour, titled Because What You Want & What You Get Are Two Completely Different Things, the band performed “Out Ta Get Me” for the first time since 2017 — a deep cut from their legendary Appetite for Destruction album.

Even more surprising was what they didn’t play: for the first time since 1993, Guns N’ Roses excluded “It’s So Easy”, a song that has been their go-to concert opener since Axl Rose, Slash, and Duff McKagan reunited in 2016. Instead, they returned to opening with the iconic “Welcome to the Jungle.”

These changes are part of a broader trend during the tour, which launched May 1 in Incheon, South Korea, with several rare or previously unplayed songs making appearances. Highlights include:

  • The live debut of “Human Being” (New York Dolls cover from The Spaghetti Incident?) in Abu Dhabi.
  • The return of “Used to Love Her” (first time live since 2018).
  • A setlist with no songs from Chinese Democracy in Riyadh — a first since 1993.
  • A new cover of Thin Lizzy’s “Thunder and Lightning” in Yokohama, Japan.

The tour continues across Europe through July, concluding at Wacken Open Air in Germany on July 31, 2025. No North American dates have been announced yet.
